Habitat for Humanity of Lake County was founded in October of 1989.
In addition to the standard mission of “bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope,” Habitat of Lake-Sumter has been a leader in innovation to build a more stable and sustainable future for the homeowner and community. They have become an integral part of our two counties, bringing together government, private citizens, public and private companies for the betterment of the entire community. It is their goal to provide access and opportunity to affordable housing solutions for those who need it.
RoMac has proudly sponsored houses for Habitat for Humanity and participated in various programs throughout the years in order to support their mission. If you are interested in learning more about this great local organization contact Danielle Stroud.
RoMac Building Supply is proud to sponsor the production of VCS Buffalo Builders, a 30 minute docuseries which follows a new group of Construction Management students from the Construction Management Academy at The Villages Charter High School as they build a home for a local family from the ground up alongside Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter. RoMac Media is currently in production on Season 3 of Buffalo Builders which airs on VNN.
Leesburg Academy Builders
RoMac Building Supply is proud to sponsor the production of Leesburg Academy Builders, a 30 minute docuseries which follows a new Dream Team every year. The Dream team is a group of 12 Construction Academy students from Leesburg High School who are building a home for a local family from the ground up alongside Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter. RoMac Media is currently in production on Season 2 of Leesburg Academy Builders which airs on Lakefront TV.
